Planning a Calgary wedding, holiday party or company celebration? Pure Portrait is a Calgary photo booth rental company voted Avenue Calgary’s Best Photo Booth in 2022, 2023, 2025 and 2026, and rated 5.0 on Google. We’re based in northwest Calgary, and our booths run on professional cameras and studio lighting, not an iPad with a filter, so your guests go home with prints they’ll actually want to frame.

  • Vintage Nostalgic: a curtain-enclosed, sit-down booth that prints classic 2x6 photo strips.
  • Retro: a vintage-style enclosed booth that takes three shots at a time, in black and white or colour.
  • Late Night Analog: our enclosed booth with two custom marquee signs and a custom front screen for your monogram or company logo.
  • Black & White: an open-air mini studio for glam black-and-white portraits.
  • Colour Shotz: a colour portrait booth with an optional gold sequin shimmer wall.
  • UK phone booth audio guestbook: guests pick up the receiver and leave a message, and it now records video too.

Calgary venues we’ve set up at

We’ve brought our booths to Calgary weddings and celebrations at the Fairmont Palliser, The Princeton, Rouge, Bonterra, Char Bar and Tool Shed Brewing. Ballroom or taproom, we set up the booth and an attendant runs it, so you can stay on the dance floor.

Pure Portrait is owned and run by Tkshotz Productions, which has been photographing Calgary weddings since 2007 and added photo booths in 2019.

Calgary photo booth FAQ

Do guests get prints or digital copies? Both. Guests get instant prints at the booth and can send their photos straight to their phones.

Can you brand the booth for a corporate event? Yes. The Late Night Analog booth includes custom marquee signs and a front screen we set up with your brand, and we add your logo to the bottom of every photo strip.

How far ahead should we book? We’re booking 2027 now and have some 2026 dates left. Popular Saturdays go first, so get in touch once your date and venue are set.
